McDougall & McConaghy spent many years working together to develop high performance moth designs that could be lost effectively mass produced yet capable of winner world championships in a class that has been dominated by highly technical one off designs. When it was apparent the demise of the production moth project that both McDougall & McConaghy Boats had been instrumental in was inevitable McDougall & McConaghy got together to come up with the MACH2. It was an immediate success and the rest is history. The MACH2 dominates the moth world in a field of sailing where development never leases. A perfect environment for McDougall and McConaghy to excel.
